The location of this hotel just off the garden under the most fantastically old tree with a glass of wine listening to the birds, especially the jackdaws and the parakeets, Leiden and the restaurant was stunning and great. The room was authentic and beautiful, offered useful things, such as a dishwasher, coffee and tea making equipment, and a refrigerator. Free Wi-Fi was good and the service was nice: D

We had a great stay at a historic property with a beautiful garden. the Villa Beukenhof was a comfortable and quirky place to stay for a business trip. the Amsterdam suite we stayed in had unique bed recesses and the beds were really comfortable. the location was convenient, with quiet roads and a nearby woodland park for running. It was also just a short bus or bike ride into the city center of Leiden. Cons: None 👍🏻.

clean towels - unique and well-decorated rooms - beautiful restaurant and gardens. Staff were warm - helpful, and sweet to our family - including our little nephew and dog. The breakfast was delicious and enormous. The Sydney room was spacious and cozy - with small details by the fireplace and a great view from the balcony. The big tub in the bathroom was a big plus!
Totally recommend.

the food at the restaurant was top-notch and provided a delightful culinary experience. the location was great, right in the midst of beautiful gardens and easy access to public transportation.
Sadly, the cleanliness of the room was not up to our standards, and there was an unpleasant odor that lingered. the service was a bit slow in the bar and restaurant, causing some frustration during busy periods.

The hotel itself was really beautiful and had a lot to offer. The luxurious and cozy design of the room was such a nice atmosphere with unique décor, we really enjoyed the sauna. The restaurant was romantic and opulent, the food and service were great. The gardens were also lovely, with a beautiful patio for relaxation.
Some basic details were overlooked which could have made the stay even more enjoyable. The TV reception was poor and the iron and ironing board were old and stained.
